Here's a rundown of all the newly added units for 2021 in the mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes on iOS and Android devices. The reason its waifus only, is because that's the only thing that matters in FEH if you don't care about being top 100 at the game and are a collectionist, or a simple man. That's how we play, how we summon. If you don't believe us, check us out over on YouTube and we'll prove our waifu madness account. That's how we roll in this game ladies. Truly sorry for the simpness but alas, here... we... are.

Rundown of eligible units: 95 total waifu units released in 2021 (minus Non-Eligible Units) = 84
Specified units will be disqualified as that means they are under the age of 18 and that's gross you sicko. I did not age verify every unit so apologies if any bypassed the flawless system. Resplendent Heroes are included as they are completely new art for old units. Duo units may get extra leverage due to two being great at once or may be a hindrance if a male or less appealing partner is with them.

30 Seiros | Quality artwork, but inferior to her Rhea form. Had Rhea (Halloween) in here instead but ended up with this as the quality is better overall even though I like the other unit better design-wise. Strong confident pose, too much white and too mid-tone for my taste. Lacks strong highlights/ dark shadows. |
29 Mercedes | She is a bland character in Three Houses (IMO) but her summer swimsuit design is fantastic, but there's a lot of better waifus in her way. |
28 Corrin (Duo w/ Elise) | Elise drops a lot of points here as I likely shouldn't include this unit at all. Corrin is the reason, and the art is top tier except the face is a bit flat. Outfit kills, would have done better without Elise. |
27 Micaiah (R) | One of the best outfits in the game (IMO) but the leggings go on for days, or whatever that rubber black thing on her legs is. Face is flat without shading and few highlights. Pose is uninspiring. |
26 Hinoka (Duo w/ Camilla) | Kind of blah portrait image. Their other poses are way stronger, carrying this. I think there's too much clothing in each design. It's done well but not what I want. Trim some of it off on arms, Camilla's skirt. shorten Hinoka's by removing the 2nd layer. |
25 Tailtiu (R) | Outfit is stellar. Shows lots of skin. Pose could be a pinch better as it seems strange. Face is a bit too flat. |
24 Palla | Great outfit, great pose. She's just not quite as good as Erinys. |
23 Ashera | Some will wonder why this is so far back, I'd say probably still too high. It's too busy. Too much going on. No other unit is like this. Dress is a onesy. Feathers confuse me. |
22 Orochi | I really like this unit but her outfit (the bottom and wrist paddles) are too weird for me, and her poses (all 4) are mid. Love her hair and design otherwise. |
21 Severa | Easter units have a range of being too weird to sexy. Severa is one of the better. Her stubborn and difficult personality come off well in this design. I like that moodiness. |
20 Kagero (R) | Not gonna lie, Kagero is probably top 3 in the game for me. Why is she this low? Not a fan of the butterfly Resplendent theme they have. Sort of fits their dream world event in the story but let's move on from that already. Even so, lots of skin and tight clothes keep this top 20. If we get a swimsuit Kagero at some point... I dare not speak of such a thing. |
19 Manuela | She may a bit older than the majority of characters in game, but I be damned, she's still hotter than most of them. That outfit and design is top tier. Best professor ever. |
18 Leonie | I'm cheating a bit on this as I know how she looks after the time skip when she has long hair. That's the better version. Knowing it keeps her back, but damn is she fit and she flaunts it. Outfit is killer, coloration is spot on. One of the best free units in the game. |
17 Sonya (R) | Great outfit, design, and color palette. Very sexy pose. Could see this unit higher but like the ones in front a sliver more. |
16 Micaiah | A lot of clothes here. Dress and a multi-layered thick coat. More on the cute side but a strong confident cute. Would like a more revealing top half of the dress. Otherwise great artwork, minor complaints here. |
15 Laegjam | Very close to Sonya in clothing and color palette. Outfit is a tinge worse than Sonya's but Logjam is a more appealing character. The weird Egyptian cat ear hat also holds this back. She's bossy and that carries her far, also her swimsuit version is top 10 in the entire game, so I know the potential. |
14 Erinys | The slightly better version of Palla at 24. Very similar outfit and design. Her hair style is more unique and interesting than Palla's. The gradient in it is a nice touch as well. Her pose is more elegant and appealing. Honestly this is basically in a four way tie with the next 3 units. |
13 Caeda (Duo w/ Plumeria) | Plumeria steals the show in this one. I originally had the other Plumeria unit in the list and decided this was superior as it is the swimsuit edition plus Caeda. Love the black swimsuit with butterfly theme. Caeda's is really basic but the bottom is nice. Two great gals but Plumeria is the standout. |
12 Igrene | Love everything about the design in this one. Clothes are tight and accentuate her figure perfectly. Has a bit of a tease facial expression right before stabbing you with the dagger. Good stuff. I feel like she's a fake tanner, not natural. So that falters here. |
11 Byleth | So many seem so anti female Byleth. Don't get it because she's better than every other female starter (Corrin, Robin, etc.). The outfit design here is insane. Detail is top tier. The shading and highlights are perfectly used. The center chest area is a bit flat in definition. Would like to see more detail there or shrink that tank top thing a bit. Eyes pop nicely as well. Top 10 unit that happens to get stuck at 11. |
10 Freyja | Swimsuit edition with an inflated pool goat. Great start. Love the petal necklace and swimsuit is fancy. Gradient in hair and clothes is top tier. Eyes are cute and pop out. Lovely design. No flaws, just better competition ahead. |
09 Thorr | I will say this unit does lack the nice detail of the last, especially in the leg area, but her pose and demeanor are so solid. It's like she's going to step on me and make me feel her power. Yes please. |
08 Malice | She weirdly reminds me of Misato Katsuragi from Evangelion. Bonus points there. Clothes and pose are boss. Strong like an Athena and looks like she's ready for fun. I'm good with that. |
07 Dorothea (Duo w/ Lene) | Dorothea is top tier already from Three Houses, and she brings her A+ game here. Even if she was solo she'd be this high. That is perfection in design, sex appeal, confidence, fits her personality. Love it. Haven't even mentioned Lene yet who is also great, just Dorothea steals the show. I think pairing her with someone more her height would have done slightly better, but there is also a nice balance accenting Dorothea here. |
06 Norne | Could flip 7 and 6 but every time I look at Norne, she just captivates me. It's like she's the 6th Quintessential sister. I got nothing to pick at here, |
05 Catria (Duo w/ Thea) | Two lovely brides. They are equally perfect. Like two sides of the same flower, complementing one another. I get why the bell staff is there, but it's in my way. Put it in the other arm behind the dress. Otherwise both are beautiful, may prefer a more revealing wedding dress, but eh that's how dresses go sometimes. |
04 Hilda (Duo w/ Marianne) | Like the last, these two are a perfect pair. Even more perfect though as the color combination pairs so nicely, more so than two shades of the same color. Their personalities pop and are exactly like their mainline game in Three Houses. Love them both. Great work all around. |
03 Shamir | So if Kagero is a top three game unit for me, here's another one of the three. I'd put her at one or two if I didn't make a dumb system and attempt to be unbiased in a biased list. She's sexy and deadly. She's professional and precise at all. The detail and artwork is spot on. Insane FEH gives this unit for free. Damn 2 and 3 for being so good. |
02 Tharja | So spectacular. Am I crazy and think her mid section looks too long though? That's all I got to say that could be wrong with it. Tharja is top tier in all of Fire Emblem, she can't be stopped. |
01 Ishtar (R) | I can honestly admit I didn't think this would be one, but hot damn did the artist knock this out of the park. Everything is phenomenal. Not a thing to be nit-picky at, and that's why she wins. Not even a big Ishtar fan, until now. |
Thanks for checking out our list! If I redid this again, it'd turn out differently every time. The top 20 units could be interchangeable based on your own tastes. It was so hard to cut it down to even 30 as this was originally going to be a top 15 list. That's right, 15. 2021 units wouldn't allow it. Exceeded expectations. Fabulous work to all of the artists.
